The legend of the brothers.

here is the prologue and first chapter for a fan fic I also posted on nintendo city. Nintendo city.com will get all of the chapters first but I won't forget to post here. ;D


PROLOGUE
Or something like that.

BROOKLYN: A pair of normal brothers that had a small plumbing business got ready for a date with their girl friends. These normal bros. were Mario and Luigi who owned a small plumbing and carpentry business. They were off to a diner. Five minutes later they met pauline and daisy. They ate a meal of pasta and finished. The brothers went home, knowing they had a plumbing job tomorrow, daisy drove home and Pauline walked. On her way home she heard unexplainable noises coming from an alleyway. She was extremely startled at first. "Hello?" she replied hesitantly towards the darkness of the alleyway. "I said hello" she repeated nearing the darkness.
No answer. She tried to reply "Is anyone there" but a huge fuzzy fist grabbed her head and reeled her into the alley way. It was almost impossible to hear her muffled screams close up. She quickly grabbed her cell phone from her pocket and dialed the brother's number.
The phone rang. The phone rang again. " get it luigi " Mario sleepily called out. The phone rang again. Luigi must've been sleeping mario thought in his bed. the phone rang a last time- and Mario grabbed it. "Hello?" he asked. No answer. "Weird, why are people callin' this late at night!?" mario asked himself.He checked the caller ID for the last person to call. It was pauline. Mario went back to sleep. A magic was falling over the planet. A magic that the brothers would soon discover.

CHAPTER 1.....THE MAGIC BEGINS


Mario woke up earlier than Luigi by a couple of minutes. He had much time to Get his suit of overalls and hard shoes on. By the time Luigi got up mario was putting on his shoes.
Mario thought to himself about how his feet felt really funny afterwards but never talked about it; it wasn’t annoying or different enough for him to.

“Ready for the job?” Luigi asked as mario got his tools ready for plumbing. “Yeah, when am I not?” Mario replied professionally. Ten minutes later they left. It wasn’t a busy day for traffic mario noticed while nearing fallen over caution cones on the road. He decided he could cut through the city. The brothers were on the streets and exchanged ideas of why no one was around except for some cops. Then they saw.

A skyscraper had half of its glass smashed off, showing plain metal floors. Which was odd; they usually weren’t that thick. The beams weren’t there either, it was just being held up. The metal was a reddish color as well, but not rusting. Very suspicious the brothers thought to themselves. At that moment Mario heard Pauline's scream from the top of the skyscraper. Mario told Luigi to get out, that they were saving pauline.

They ran past the cops who shouted at them, the sky darkened though it was in the morning, soon the surroundings of mario were nothing but a black background as he jumped onto the first platform. Luigi hadn’t made it. But now all he could think of was jumping. Part of his brain was thinking of how this was weird, especially since ladders were hanging around, which he hadn’t noticed before.

He leaped over to the first ladder and climbed it. A barrel flew at him and he soared over it. He repeated this until about half way up, there he saw a huge turtle. “WOAH!” Mario yelped as it ran towards him. He wondered how a huge snapping turtle got here, then he noticed its peculiarly rounded shell, tall large oval eyes and plain perfectly cylindar-like feet and legs. It shocked him so much that he reached for his tools, but the only one left was his hammer. As it started fading, he grabbed it and swung it at the huge turtle.

The hammers handle rounded almost perfectly, so it was odd, the head got humongous too. He smashed the turtle with it and couldn’t stop! he was swing it over his head and back again. He smashed a few barrels and then reached the top. “Pauline!” Mario shouted. Then he saw it, the huge brown two ton ape. It roared and threw a barrel at him. He quickly jumped over it bringing him closer to this ignoramus monkey. “It’s hammer time” mario whispered just loud enough for the ape to hear it.

He smashed its face with the hammer and as it fell into the darkness he said “can’t touch this.” The blackness faded but Pauline did too. Mario leaped his last super leap towards her-and she was gone. forever? perhaps. He would have to wait. He saw a crowd of people around him. Millions, somehow not witnessing his triumph, but just knowing. Maybe, they were the darkness when he was fighting? He would never know. Someone asked what’s your name? And he replied “Mario”
“That's it?” the fan asked seeming disappointed.
“No, It’s SUPER mario!” he answered triumphantly.

It took awhile but the brothers got home in time to get to bed. “Hey we missed that job today” Luigi said to mario from his bed. “We’ll get him tomorrow.” mario replied sleepily. And that’s what they did.


Sorry about the lame pun like "It's hammer time" and "Can't touch this" but it seemed cool at the time and i dont feel like changing it. lol

well heres chapter 2-4.

CHAPTER TWO ....... THE PLUMBING JOB

In the morning mario noticed he had slept with his shoes on. His feet felt fine now and he started getting ready for the job they missed the other day. Luigi woke up later than mario as usual and started getting ready.

Once they got to their job the man that had called said his plumbing wasn’t working at all. So they went into the basement where he said the pipes were and there was nothing. Except for more stairs. They were very surprised when they noticed this went on and on for about five floors down. It was darker going down this time but half way through the stairs they fell down onto a group of blue floors around them. They felt themselves becoming different, getting more rounded faces and awkward feet, they were looking at their surroundings and saw them transforming too.

Then they saw it. A huge seven hundred pound turtle with huge spikes on his shell. As they ran from it a green fireball came floating towards them. THEY WERE SURROUNDED! At that moment mario remembered his power to jump, and he jumped over the turtle. His had hit the floor above him and he noticed the floor above him moved too. As Luigi followed him mario told him he had a plan. He led him to the floor beneath and jumped so he would hit the turtle from underneath.


He came back up suspecting a victory but not seeing one. The turtle had almost uprighted itself from being upside down and wasn’t damaged any further. Mario quickly jumped into its stomach and it went flying. He turned to see giant fire flies hopping towards them. Mario repeated what he did with the turtle. He meet up with Luigi and they watched the pipes they were coming from.

They saw a huge horde of giant crabs heading towards them. There wasn’t a floor below the one they stood on so the brothers couldn’t try their trick. Luigi said “Here I go” And jumped towards the horde. Before he reached them he came down onto his belly and slid through all of them unharmed. Mario tried it and they had survived.

This seemed too dangerous o they climbed their way all of the way out, up to the mans house. Nothing changed. Everything with a round shape stayed perfectly round, they stayed short and the world stayed different. “Woah” said Luigi. “Yeah” mario replied.

CHAPTER THREE.....WORLD 1-1???

“Where the heck are we mario?” “Where the HELL are we is more like it luigi” Mario replied bitterly. “We have to find Daisy Mario!” Luigi suggested.
“OH NO!” Mario said back angrily “Pauline dissapeared into this place and she is here! we are looking for HER!” Mario went on raising his voice at Luigi.

“ She might not even be here anymore Mario, better yet she probably already DIED!” Luigi quickly and angrily retaliated. “ SHUT UP!!!” Mario yelled at the top of his lungs. “I can’t beleive you Luigi! We don’t have just a relationship, she’s an old good friend of mine and when did you meet daisy? A YEAR ago in some BAR!?!?” Mario continued shouting at luigi with full force and mario was so angry everything just seemed to be turning white.

Luigi tried to talk but he couldn’t hear himself over mario’s shouting, and then mario threw a strong punch right into Luigi’s stomach. Luigi quickly continued the fight by jumping on to mario’s head pounding him into the ground. Mario quickly did a backflip out of the ground and drop kicked Luigi’s face. Luigi dove strait into mario’s stomach throwing mario about ten feet.

Mario quickly threw himself up to luigi, grabbed both of his feet, and started swinging him around. “WoahhwoahwoahhHWOAHMARIOSTOPITNOW!” Luigi shouted as mario swung him around. “ Okay” Mario said and flung Luigi through a sign on the brick road.

“I won the fight, we look for pauline.” “Oh fiine....” luigi muttered feeling half dead. “ Hey what’s this sign say? Mario wondered out loud” “World 1-1 ?” Mario said answering his question. “What the heck is a 1 dash 1 luigi?” Mario asked. “Hey mario look, it says to bowsers castle on it.” Luigi suggested. “ Yeah maybe he knows something about Paulines location.” Mario thought out loud again.





“Let’s go! “ Luigi stated loudly. They found a goomba, and mario tried to jump over it but accidentally landed on it’s head and killed it. They saw a question box and mario hit it out of curiosity. A mush room came out and attacked Luigi. “Luigi!” Mario yelled and luigi grew up to ten feet tall. “It’s okay! I think it’s a power up!” Luigi said.

They jumped over a pipe and over some koopas. Mario jumped onto a pipe and then a pihrana plant came up and ate him whole! Luigi could hear mario’s muffled yelps for help as it dragged itself into the pipe with him in it’s mouth. “Mario I’m coming!” Luigi said.

CHAPTER FOUR......MARIO LAND 2 STYLE


Luigi suddenly felt sorry about his fight with mario understanding he didn’t know what he was doing and jumped in the pipe. At first the piranha plant came flying out and bit luigi’s face turning him small again. The next time he was more cautious.

When luigi came out in the underground level he immediately saw a fat piranha plant with mario in him, but it scurried off too quickly for luigi to catch it. He did follow it though and it led him to a dead end. “ Gimme mario you stupid flower!” Luigi said with a cruel twist to his voice. the piranha plant barfed off mario and ran off. as luigi got closer he noticed the ground shaking. He quickly awake the unconscious mario to aid him in his fight.


A huge piranha plant came out of the ground and they could see it was petey piranha. It puked up goop at them and mario was buried in it. luigi ran behind a wall of blocks and waited. Then luigi turned to see him and mario as babies! Baby mario handed him a F.L.U.D.D. system and they warped away in some odd machine. Luigi jumped out and sprayed out mario with the machine that sprayed water strapped to his back.






Mario escaped and luigi handed the water blasting device to him. Mario then sprayed petey piranha full, so full he exploded. Baby mario was there and took back the FLUDD system and teleported away. The brothers marched victoriously into a pipe no knowing it led strait to warios castle! They entered the castle thinking it might be bowsers not considering the huge W on it.

As they entered they instantly saw that wario liked to have traps. Mario and luigi ran as one swinging ball stopped to go the other direction but it came back too soon! It scraped Luigis back as he ducked under it hurting him. They evaded more spiky balls and fire shooting piranha plant statues and continued into another room with only minor flesh wounds.

They soon came to a room with platforms floating above lava. as the platforms moved they got on to them. they then entered a room where the second floor tile turned black for a split second bringing huge fists down in front of them. going up and down they timed it just carefully enough to jump through. they always stayed away from the second tile. After they almost burned their butts off jumping on and off of crumbling platforms above lava they entered a room with odd bubbles with faces on them bouncing around. Mario and luigi quickly evaded them and leaped upon their heads to kill them. they went through them for two rooms. They then got a mushroom. Mario took it.

They entered the room ahead and asked where pauline was. with no response but stone balls falling from the ceiling. Mario was hit with one and downsized and they saw wario. Mario jumped on his head and luigi punched his face. he went into another room. Luigi got a carrot that gave him bunny ears that made him fly! In the next room wario flew too. Mario ran underneath him as he started flying and he smash marios head in by falling onto him, dropping another ball. Luckily the ball landed on warios head and luigi jumped and softly floated onto warios head hurting him more. Wario fled to the final room. Mario took a fire flower and they went to the next room.

Wario had a fire flower and shot one at them. Mario was hit but he managed to shoot one into wario’s eye. Luigi jumped onto his head and wario downsized. He looked like an odd familiar little alien. TATANGA! wario wasn’t tatanga but he did look a little like him.




Showing his cowardice wario fled out of the window, landing on his head, most likely breaking his neck, as mario and luigi victoriously claimed the castle theirs as they left.

There u go all of my work on it so far! it will be eight chapters long so I'm half way through already!

Sorry about double post, heres the last chapter...i lied about eight chapters a little bit.


CHAPTER 5 game over.


They went through a pipe and found a yoshi! sitting right there. Yoshi! it exclaimed.
The brothers took it with them to help. They soon approached the castle.
They entered it and found themselves dancing past fireballs and spike traps every where.

They soon got into a room with two hammer bros. Mario jumped up at it and kicked him. luigi jumped up and jumped on it. The yoshi ate him. They entered a dark room whre a weird spaceship thing was. TATANGA! mario welled. he ran at him but was hit with a missile.”MARIO!” luigi yelled. Luigi took out a big wooden hammer. as soon as tatanga neared...WHAM!

Tatanga went flying and broke the next door open. They had to go on without mario.
He had been on his last life. They entered the room to see bowser. Bowser! Luigi yelled. Toad suddenly appeared to help. Yoshi ran at bowser but bowser burned yoshi’s tongue off as he tried to eat him. Yoshi fell on the ground burning dying. “Yoshi...where big brother?...” Yoshi muttered as he went on to another place.. This was wrong luigi thought. death isn’t supposed to be here, this is not a land of true death! he thought.

Toad jumped at bowser and punched his face. Bowser clawed toads face off back at him.. “ NO!” luigi shouted.Then daisy was there o help. “ NO!!! DAISY!!!” Lugi screamed so all could hear. “ I have to...for peach..” Daisy told him. she ran at bowser and kicked him in the stomch. he roared in pain but went back and bit her. she fell to the ground.







Luigi ran at him, knowing he wouldn’t win. knowing he would die. Bowser bit luigi, his chest coming out into bowsers mouth...luigi cold only do one thing....bite back. He bit him right into the neck, the blood tasted good, it tasted like revenge..he could hear bowser dying, he felt like a hero, he knew this made him evil though....bowser quickly scrathed at him and was about to finish him off but then.

An axe cane strait flying through bowsers stomach, completely missing luigi. bowser died. luigi got up still losing too much blood. Mario was there. luigi went with him and they saved the princess. There journey was over. they knew the way it went.save the world and everything goes back. restart the NES or gameboy whatever, new adventure with your friends back and enemies.

They had done it before...they never had been real ople..or had they? no one will ever know. but they were this now and it was always this way. even if you go back and read the beginning you can’t prove it to them. it was always a game.

the end...what yoshi says is weird i know...... check my fan art sometime soon, i might have a sad comic that clears it up.

igore that comic thing unless you want to check out the fan art at nc.

yea i got lazy because i wanted to start on my upcoming NC fan fic, whih i might post here....i'm not too sure though but still, I'm woring on that now and will start making it on NC and maybe then start posting it here if it's okay since this isn't NC. ;D
